Join Me as an Advocate for UT

The 2017 legislative session began today, and in the next few months, thousands of bills and resolutions will be introduced by our elected representatives. Some of these bills will impact us as University of Tennessee employees, the students we serve, and the way we accomplish our mission to educate, discover and connect.

While it is too early to tell what issues will have momentum, it is important that we stay informed and involved. One of the best ways to do this is through our UT Advocacy program. And as UT employees, you can be among our most effective advocates. By joining UT Advocacy, you will be among the first to know about opportunities to help me communicate with legislators about UT’s needs. You’ll also receive weekly information during the legislative session about key issues impacting the UT System.

Join UT Advocacy
There are more than 12,000 employees across the UT System. Together with our alumni, students and friends—our base is large and our voice is strong. As we begin another legislative session in Tennessee, please consider joining me as a UT advocate.

All the best,
Joe
